Following are only a few of the projects we've completed over the years. If you do not see something similar to your needs, let us know so we can provide you with an example where we have helped a previous client accomplish your same goals.
R.M. Williams Construction successfully completed the Hurricane Hardening project at DOW Electronics in August 2011. The work entailed structural reinforcement to existing masonry, the addition of 33.75 tons of structural steel reinforcement, the replacement of existing aluminum storefronts, the installation of a new metal roof utilizing the Roof Hugger® Retrofit Sub-Framing System (www.roofhugger.com) and repainting the building inside and out. During construction, the Owner undertook upgrading the facility by replacing existing RTU’s and adding a fire alarm system, among several betterments achieved. The construction required detailed coordination with the Owner to prevent any adverse impact to DOW’s business operations. In fact, not a single business day was lost during construction and DOW’s 100+ employees were able to continue offering exceptional service to their customers. Phasing plans were developed and reviewed weekly, and at times modified daily, to allow the work to move forward. The work performed by the installation crew for All Steel Consultants, Inc. stood out as especially exemplary. The challenging work performed at this 60,000 square foot facility was completed on-time and accident free.Return to News
